Murtaza
Ibrahimi
MBA candidate at UBC Sauder and co-founder of HerStory, working where business meets social impact.
I build programs and funding strategies that create lasting impact for communities, especially Afghan women and girls.
I studied business at the American University of Afghanistan. Today I live in Vancouver, where I work in operations at a law firm and am pursuing my MBA at the UBC Sauder School of Business. I'm also a John & Ankie Piket Fellow.
Alongside my career, I co-founded HerStory, a nonprofit that advocates for Afghan women through storytelling, education, and community. I care most about education, advocacy, and the sustainable funding that keeps community work going for the long term.
